Giving back is important to me. My husband, Mark, and I give back to the community via the animals we love and take into our home.
I love giving through the art of photography! I give my time and images to the local open intake shelter by photographing animals available for adoption, and I have done volunteer photography for an equine rescue that provides care to horses, mules, and donkeys with medical issues, along with mares and foals. I am also a regular foster for my local shelter and take in momma cats with litters of small kittens that don't tend to do well in the shelter setting until they older or adoptable. I also do low fee photography for the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program at their Covington, LA location.
I feel it's important to give back to organizations that make a difference in the community. In return, I recieve the satisfaction and joy that comes from doing something good for the animals that don't have a voice. We are their voice!
I encourage you to get involved with your local organizations. Volunteering your time and sharing important resources are great ways to help a shelter or rescue in need. Whether you can adopt, foster, or volunteer, your time is equally valuable!
Please help me share these wonderful animals in need of loving homes by following me on Facebook and sharing my posts!
